Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

Where do we look to check our status?????

Keep checking our emails is what I was told. By this afternoon or this evening we should receive the "NEWS". Im so nervous and anxious. arghhhh!

I thought we just apply to the nursing program in general and once accepted we get to pick our campus. Is this not correct?

Maybe it's because you turned in your Hesi scores late. Since your application is in review you should be fine. They would not review your application without hesi scores... So, grab a cup of coffee and calm down..[/quote']

Yes, that is correct. We apply in general and choose the campus you want to attend after being accepted.

They may keep accepting applications until all seats are filled. Most likely they are sending out responses to those that have been waiting since spring. I applied at the end of March trying to get in for May but I was told the application window for May closed March 27th. Im not sure about the one for August though.

Wow! I am surprised that they are sending out letters already today. I wonder how long they will keep accepting students for since my status is "pending documentation" and it till take me at least a few weeks to get the certificate for the HCP course.
