Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

If you've taken courses at BC they should already have all that information, you'll just need your application and HESI scores like stel1 said. If you haven't you'll probably have to ask Nicole.

HSC Courses complete except CPR, I'll be taking that at Central this Sunday :)

I must say it feels good to not procrastinate like I usually do, makes life so much easier lol

I can't wait till June... does everybody have pre-program application on their program status? when do you think we will start seeing a change in our status?

I've never been so stressed in my entire life. Well, I was reading the August 2013 thread and I saw that some of them got in with 7 points and 82 overall in Hesi, so I'm staying confident and I'm praying at the same time.:):yes:

If i pay for the hesi tomorrow can i take it the same day or do i have to still schedule it? Really want to get it over with,lol

I would say it depends. I had to be scheduled for mine. I think the same principle applies to everyone because they will have to put you with a group of students. I would say try to make an appointment for tomorrow.

I think you will have to schedule it for another day unless they offer a time that same day that you're there. Good luck! I overly stressed the hesi and got a 92 overall.. youll do great.

I have been watching the threads about Nursing for some time now. I graduated from Broward College (back then it was BCC) with my AA Degree. I finally made up my mind to stop being afraid and do it. I see that a lot of people are turning in their applications in now. Can I turn in my application before doing the HESI exam or my CPR certification? I take the exam on May 30th and I am doing the CPR class early next month. Please any help or advice will help.

Hey! Yeah you can turn them before the hesi, i just did the other day.
