Hi everyone,
I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?
Hi all I'm also applying to BC's Nursing program for the August 2014 term. I have a 3.5 G.P.A and I have a 82% on my overall HESI score. I was accepted for the May 2014 term but was not able to go because of a issue with my job :-( so I was told that I could start in August :-) so any tips on the reading and CEU's would be greatly appreciated!!!

get the CEUs done on CEUFast.com, only costs $30 for all of them. Take the CPR at BC if you can, $96(Fin. Aid covered me) and eight hours long, but very thorough and you definitely learn a lot; highly recommended. Get all your Titers done now if possible, if you don't have insurance you'll want to start saving, because they're expensive out-of-pocket. Walgreens Clinic on Coconut Creek Parkway is walk-in or appointment and has all the has all the services you'll need to get done(including PPD and Physical) plus they take insurance.
As for the reading I want to try keeping the May '14 thread updated with what's going on, so maybe take a peek once in a while.

Thanks for the response, I currently have my CPR, I just renewed it about month ago with my job for free (thank God), and I have my titers done I think they are 1-2 years old, I'm not sure if I have to redo my PPD but if so I will. I will try to do all my CEU's through that website this week thanks for the heads up :-)
Hello, I am new to this site. I will be applying for the Fall 2014 as well. I took my Hesi yesterday and average 86. I went to North Campus yesterday hoping to submit my application, but admission was closed. My Gpa (A&P and ENC 1101) is 3.1. If they count math, which I doubt, it will be a 3.4... Hopefully, I will get in. What do I need to submit my application? A copy of my transcript, my HCP certificate.. Anything else? I've heard mention of a Florida residency form, where do I get it?
