AUG 9,14-NYHQ RN open house

hi, anyone of you here joined the open house today and was able to fill in an application? after filling out, they gave me this envelope with some papers about the pharm bok review, etc.. as i was reading it, it says, we'll gonna have ourselves scheduled for the pharm exam.

QUESTION:

do we have to wait a call from them (if chosen)?

this does not guarantee that you are hired right?

please enlighten me..thanks =)

No call here yet. My friend however was called to ask to get missing documents. I wonder when the orientation is supposed to be.

I believe that it should be shortly, because why would they let us take this exam and not respond. The only puzzle is WHAT IS TAKING THEM SO LONG!

Idk guys if we don't hear anything today, maybe they start again with calls next week..other than missing documents, this time with offers. Did anyone, contact them to find out any info..me I lost the card w/ the lady's info/ phone # on it.

I called earlier in the week and they said they will be making the calls and reaching out to us within a week. They will also tell us what documents to bring but other than that I really havent gotten anything else from them. Which is rather frustrating. I kind of wished they didnt say they would call us within a week but rather said, we will get back to you in 2-3 weeks. :(

Anyone who got a call this week for a meeting to "discuss the next steps" what does that mean? Will this meeting be where they offer a position or is this just another interview thing? This is the most tortuous process!

Those that were called were made offers. Mostly part time as I confirmed with a friend. I on the other hand just received a rejection email and good luck on my search.

Omg DestinedRN, I am so sorry to hear about this. So I get the feeling that they called the people they really wanted to extend a job offer to at first. They did not state why?
