Attorney in California for initial RN license application needed

Nurses Criminal

Published

I need help finding a legal attorney in California. It's for the initial application process for RN license. I have a couple convictions on my background that I have to report to the BRN. One is a wet reckless from seven years ago and the other is an infraction. I have my live scan and the way the convictions show doesn't look well and worried that I won't get my license. Does anyone know of an attorney that specializes in this kind of problem, that may help me with my initial application or if someone can please point me to the right direction as to how to write a letter of explanation to the BRN? Anything would be very helpful, thank you.

We cannot make attorney referrals. However the American Association of Nurse Attorneys has a lawyer referral database. These are nurse-attorneys experienced in administrative law and matters before the board of nursing.

OP, I'm curious. Did you look into this any before starting school? Or are you just starting school now? (Your posts reads as though you just finished school.)
