ATT dated for CA?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Just curious if other graduating RN students in California have received their ATT's yet from Pearson Vue? If so, when did you complete your exam application?

BON websites processing time was updated a few days ago and they are working on applications received 4/16 thru 4/30.

It seems strange that they are processing them in random order given some of the comments I have read on here.
I have checked my breeze account and have seen no changes- not even regarding transcripts received.

This waiting game is quite brutal for me ?

Good luck to everyone who recently finished school, has received and was able to schedule for an exam date!

Update if anyone is curious.

Applied 5/19/2020

Graduated 6/2/2020

Transcripts uploaded 6/9/2020 (previously I said transcripts were uploaded 6/2, but I was wrong)

Noticed that my BreEZe was updated yesterday to: "Approved Exam Application - Pending Exam Pass Results"

Now I'm waiting for that ATT number, which should be coming very soon. I hope you all are doing well and passing that test. ?

Thank you for the update! Good luck!! Still waiting over here. ?

Specializes in ICU.

I graduated in May and almost all of my classmates are still waiting for their ATT from the CA BRN. I moved out of state and applied to a different BON and I believe out of almost 60 people, I'm the only one who was able to take the NCLEX so far.

BreEZe updated 7/7 to: "Approved Exam Application - Pending Exam Pass Results"

ATT received 7/9

And now...I JUST TOOK THE NCLEX (WHAT!?!!?!) because today, 7/13, was the only date available before mid-August, unless I wanted to drive to another part of CA.

I had about 65 question (tons of SATA, one "put in order", no math to my surprise) and the exam turned off. I am not excited for this wait, but I'll probably do the PVT in a couple hours, then try to get my QuickResults. Crazy times my friends! Hoping the very very best for all of us!

WOW!, you did everything so quickly! CONGRATS!
I still feel under prepared- I scheduled for August.
(For those of you wondering, I got an update to my breeze account on 7/9 and the following night I received an email with the ATT! So it seems that the waiting time comes from application review, after that everything goes quickly.)

Please keep us updated on your results!

If you don't mind answering...
What resources did you use to study and which did you find most beneficial? How long did you study?
Also, when you arrive at the test center, do you need your username and passwords handy? Or do you arrive at the computer and its all set up already? Im curious, as I am the type to be nervous about these things and all the little details!

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like signs are pointing to a good outcome CONGRATS!! Can I ask what you used to study? Did you feel the questions were way more detailed and in-depth than you expected or more broad and surface level? Taking my test this week ahh!

Okay, I thought that the questions were hard and that I didn't know - but last night at 11:08pm, my license was up on the BON website! I just about lost my mind! My QuickResults aren't even available yet! YOU WILL BE AMAZING!

You do not need your login or password! It was very easy to get in, no stress. Don't bring a lot of stuff with you. I brought my passport because I look really beautiful in my drivers license but I knew I was going to look like crud - so I brought my passport because I also look like crud in that.

I studied UWorld EXCLUSIVELY. Also, I only used maybe 400 questions. I took the self assessment, it said I had a very high chance of passing, and that made me feel really good. I did well on my ATI/exit HESI's. I had a decent GPA. I found UWorld's rationales to be very helpful - one rationale that I remembered distinctly came up WORD. FOR. WORD. as an answer on the NCLEX. I didn't read the full rationale for some of the UWorld questions, but would skip down to the "education objective" at the bottom.

Also, I did try the Pearson Vue Trick after I got the "now that you've taken the NCLEX" email and again a few hours later, and I got the "good" popup both times. So I guess it does work!

That is awesome! Congratulations! I'm so nervous for my test, I took the UWorld assessment and I am only borderline? Thank you for your updates!

@elliebear How did you search for your license on the BON? I just took my NCLEX this morning and am wondering if my license will be posted online before my NCLEX results post. That is so awesome and surprising to hear, as I heard it can take up to six weeks for our licenses to post online after we pass the NCLEX. CONGRATS!! ?

CONGRATULATIONS, RN!
Thank you so much for the information and updates!

Hope everyone else is able to schedule and find test centers and dates open near them!

Also, looking for other stories if people would like to share their experiences. It helps relieve some anxiety when I hear good news ?
