  1. CONGRATULATIONS, RN! Thank you so much for the information and updates! Hope everyone else is able to schedule and find test centers and dates open near them! Also, looking for other stories if people would like to share their experiences. It helps relieve some anxiety when I hear good news ?
  2. WOW!, you did everything so quickly! CONGRATS! I still feel under prepared- I scheduled for August. (For those of you wondering, I got an update to my breeze account on 7/9 and the following night I received an email with the ATT! So it seems that the waiting time comes from application review, after that everything goes quickly.) Please keep us updated on your results! If you don't mind answering... What resources did you use to study and which did you find most beneficial? How long did you study? Also, when you arrive at the test center, do you need your username and passwords handy? Or do you arrive at the computer and its all set up already? Im curious, as I am the type to be nervous about these things and all the little details! Thanks in advance!
  3. BON websites processing time was updated a few days ago and they are working on applications received 4/16 thru 4/30. It seems strange that they are processing them in random order given some of the comments I have read on here. I have checked my breeze account and have seen no changes- not even regarding transcripts received. This waiting game is quite brutal for me ? Good luck to everyone who recently finished school, has received and was able to schedule for an exam date!
  4. Hi all, I am in contact with one of your classmates already regarding books. I will let her have first dibs- if she does not want to buy it as a package, I will post what I have remaining. We were given an option to purchase the books as 2 bundles from the bookstore, were you given this option? Yes, these are books for nursing 50, but you do also use them for the remainder of the program. Throughout the program, there will be additional books you need to purchase as well.
  5. I dont remember the cost, but I remember the option to buy books individually, or as a boxed set, or as a digital only version. I have the boxed set that allows you to download some of the content digitally, but I've already claimed those codes. So I only have the physical copy of books. I will get back to you on the cost. If you have the paper about books to purchase, let me know, I can let you know what I have available... since editions are always changing.
  6. Hi All, CONGRATS on your acceptance to CCSF's RN program! I am a recent graduate, and I have books for first semester (physical w/out online access codes because I already claimed them) for purchase. Feel free to send me a message once you get your list, and I will compare and see if its the same edition. Let me know if you have any questions. Congratulations again!
  7. Hello all! Has any standby applicants received a call to accept an open position yet? What number were you on the waitlist? Thank you
  8. Thanks for the clarification fliu957! I just wasn't sure if trusted my own instincts after I kept reading the notice. Good luck!
  9. Hey hollandlops. Thank you for letting me know of your intentions and congrats on getting accepted to another program! Good luck! Has anyone else received their notice of standby? The wording could easily be misinterpreted. If I am number xx (let's say number 52) .. is there 1 person ahead of me on the list or are there 51 people ahead of me? Anyone else reading this... What is your interpretation. The letter states: Top 50 students in point total are selected and the next 70 will be standby. The standby sequence begins #51. You are #xx on the standby list. Is the xx number in sequence from 1-120, or is the xx number my position out of the 70 on standby? Am I over thinking something that is really just so simple. It's the anxiety! Sorry people!
  10. Congrats karn1213 on the acceptance. Thank you for the suggestion. I did call and the department confirmed I am on a waitlist but would not tell me in what position. Also, thank you for the information about the waitlist. Does anyone else know of someone with such an experience? I would love to hear more stories of success with getting through via the waitlist.
  11. Hi karn1213! Did you get an acceptance letter? I am waitlisted... I just know it. I have not received a letter yet... Feeling a bit discouraged at this point. Does anyone know the average number of people who move up and into the program from the waitlist?
  12. Congratulations. Did you get your letter of acceptance yesterday as well? I did not receive anything in the mail yesterday. Fingers crossed I'm not just waiting for a waitlist notice:nailbiting:
  13. Congrats NissanX! What was your overall multicriteria score? Trying to see if I have a chance. I hope in not just waiting for a waitlisted notice. What is the reply by date for those who have been accepted? Thanks in advance.
  14. Hi hollandlops! Did you get in? I see a happy face.. hope that means you were accepted! Where do you live? I have yet to receive anything.. I have been so anxious! What were the details if you don't mind sharing. When is the reply by date? When is orientation? I really wish I get the acceptance letter. If i don't see anything tomorrow I'm wondering if it's because I'm waiting for a wait listed letter. It would make sense for them to send a letter to the 50 top applicants to await their response. To anyone just browsing this post... good luck!
  15. Hi NissanX! I believe the acceptance is after the TEAS are evaluated. If I am correct, in the TEAS letter it said to submit TEAS, then they will re-rank the 170 candidates and then another letter will be sent out. I assume if you are top 50 you will get the acceptance letter, which you respond to by mail. And if you are between 51-170 you play the waiting game, but I think a letter will also be sent to notify you of your position on the waitlist. Good luck!
