ATL Summer 2022 Residency

HI! its early but I'm starting a thread for those graduating may/Summer of 2022 & are applying to atl metro hospitals ( Emory, Piedmont, Northside, CHOA,Grady & WellStar)  Emory, WellStar & CHOA have their applications open already. early bird always catches the worm (;  let's find roomies & those working on the same future floor as you!

There is also other ppl who had mentioned they were hired in April but haven’t recieved an official offer letter. I was just wondering what unit.

I got hired for ED at their hiring event in April

Has anybody for Grady received the link for the background check cause my friend got the email and it says it takes 7-10 days to process and must be completed before we can start date but I haven’t even got the link and it’s almost August 1st. I hope they don’t push my start date back cause this will be the second time.

Hi! When did she receive the link for the background check? I have been reaching out to the recruiter and nothing but the offers would be delayed one more day and that was on Tuesday. I’m concerned there will be a delay with the start dates but more because of the lack of communication.

Yes I also got that same email. I responded asking when would we get the background checks done since the email said 7-10 business days and was told soon. I followed up with my Recriuter as well and still don't have anything. Is anyone going to the SICU.

I’m wondering if we all have the same recruiter. Does anyone else have (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME)

No I haven't gotten anything yet. Did someone tell you they received theirs.

Yes! My friend said she received hers. I’m not sure if they are coming out a few at a time.
