ATL Residency Spring 2024

Hi just wanted to start a thread for nurse residencies for Spring 2024 in Atlanta. I've applied to CHOA, Emory, Northside, NGMC, and Piedmont. Has anyone else applied or heard anything?

Hey all! I just stumbled upon this forum. I am new here, and wanted to hop on this forum. Congrats to those who got offers! Has anyone applied to Northside's or Piedmont's ED unit?

So I didn't apply to thier ERs but I did apply to other positions and never heard anything but Piedmont I applied to moutainside only. And from my research from reading other forums it seems that northside is always very late with their hiring process compared to the rest. I need to withdraw mine since I now accepted a job though. I did hear back from Northeast georgia hospital very quickly and their interviews are october 19 and 20.

Thank you very much for your response! I have an interview with Piedmont next week with their ER but it almost seems like they want someone with ER experience. But thank you!

have you thought about pediatric ER. I just got hired there for ER. They take new grads

Yeah, I hear you! CHOA has not been in my top 3 (Northside, Emory and Piedmont), but it's worth a try. How much do they offer for the ER if you don't mind me asking?

Oh yea. I fell for Peds in school so that is why I chose them. It's 33 per hour and the ER you get extra differential for critical nursing

It was great! I got a verbal offer from MICU & Neuro ICU wants me to shadow. I'm going to accept the MICU offer. Do you know when the residency starts?

That's great to ehar! Congrats! I got an opportunity to shadow but no offer yet so staying hopeful *fingers crossed ? *
