Hi just wanted to start a thread for nurse residencies for Spring 2024 in Atlanta. I've applied to CHOA, Emory, Northside, NGMC, and Piedmont. Has anyone else applied or heard anything?

Has anyone heard back from Northside Gwinnett/Forsyth
ICU, they recently opened Summer positions but I haven't heard back.

I also live out of state, so this job would determine if I am able to finally move. I have not gotten any emails or anything since. My application still says "in consideration" and I am not able to contact the recruiters, as they are not replying to my emails. What should I do? I really need this position! Does anyone have a direct email address to any of the recruiters? ? I am really feeling discouraged at this point

Hi I have an invite to do a video assessment with CHOA as well. Can you tell me what type of questions you were asked ?what can I expect? How can I prepare for the video assessment?

Hi, so the questions are like why choa? Why nursing? What specialties you prefer? Things like that. But I think they change for everyone. Make sure to do it asap because the sooner the better. I made sure to dress nice for it since they watch the videos.

Thank you for responding. Where you offered a position? If so what speciality?

Hi I have a stupid question but for those that graduated in december 2023 did you apply to Fall 2023 RN residency program or Spring. Im just not sure if " Fall" means RN graduates for december or RN residency to start in fall.

Hi, I'll be honest I don't quite remember but I think it was for Spring 2024 when I graduated in December 2023 that I applied for. The cohort for CHOA opened I think end of July or 1st of August.
