So my school hosted an ATI NCLEX review for us. It was horribly horribly boring. The lady was nice, but somewhat condescending to us. We are not strong in pharmacology, we do not take a sole pharmacology class. She made several comments about us being weak in pharmacology and a few other things. Other than that it was so boring that we had people falling asleep left and right, myself included.
Does anyone else have experience with ATI review? Right now I can't afford any reviews and I am probably going to have to take the NCLEX with only that review behind me. I am so aggravated and depressed about it.

I've taken the ATI review course and unfourtunately I was unsuccesful the first time I took the NCLEX becuase my school did not focus on meds either. We did not get a Pharmacology course. However, if your looking for something affordable and good try NCSBN course at learningext.com. You can do a 5 week course which is pretty good for $70.

I also have subscribed to the NCSBN....I like that it is self paced. It's very complete too.
Many friends took the ATI review since it was cheaper than Kaplan or Hurst BUT they were disappointed for various reasons.

What does your school do for pharm if you have no class for it really?
At my school they gave the meds along with the courses...so if we were doing cardio in med surg we learned the cardio meds
NCSBN i heard is good because they give a lot of questions but it is also a do it yourself in a certain amount of weeks

Most people study on their own and pass without taking any review. Just go with what you have now and put all of your effort into it. Good luck.
