Does anybody have any tips for studying for the ATI proctored assessments? I’m in a PN program right now and I have to take my first one next week. My grades are really good but I don’t do as good on the ATI assignments. The proctored assessment counts towards my final grade and I’m so scared that my grade is going to go down because of it. I’ve been taking the CAT exams and the practice assessments but I don’t know if any of this will be on the actual proctored assessment. Even if I get the average percentile my school only counts it as a 70. IDK if it’s like this everywhere but my school either gives you a 70, 80, or 90 with nothing in between so I’d have to do significantly better than average to get an 80. Right now I’m getting 80s/90s on the practice assessments but I’m getting average on moderate questions for the CAT exams.

I've never worried about what comes up with the proctored exams. I study the contents and do my best to recall them. I'm given practice exams and doing remediation. I'd score as low as 50%. My proctored exam results look promising. My individual first attempt exams, in total, place in 99% chances to pass. I hope it will be true. I'll keep holding onto it. I keep reviewing. Anyways, I've been practicing for GRE. I don't know why I'm doing it, but I'm enjoying it. I'll try CAT. I'm bored with my life. LOL.

I actually did a lot better than I thought I would LOL. My level on the proctored exam determined my letter grade for fundamentals, if I would have gotten below a level 2 I would have gotten like an 89.8 and I worked so hard for an A so I was so worried. The CAT exams help a lot with anything on ATI, It’s really helped me figure out how they test and what kind of answers they want. I didn’t expect it to help that much but my initial score on practice tests has gone up a lot since I started taking the CAT exams regularly, I definitely recommend it.

Thanks for sharing about CATs. I'll look it up.

Not in my school. If a student scores below Level 2 at first try, it can cause a fail. 15% against final grades in exams/quizzes is a lot.

That’s crazy! For me it was worth 10%
