Hi! I’m planning on applying to this program soon and I was wondering if anyone that got in would be comfortable sharing their rubric scores. I know the regular RN program is really competitive, I’ve heard LPN-RN does get less applicants. My grades are good but not perfect and I have to retake the TEAS since it’s been a year but I’d like to get an idea of what my chances are. Congrats to everyone that go in ?

I actually did a lot better than I thought I would LOL. My level on the proctored exam determined my letter grade for fundamentals, if I would have gotten below a level 2 I would have gotten like an 89.8 and I worked so hard for an A so I was so worried. The CAT exams help a lot with anything on ATI, It’s really helped me figure out how they test and what kind of answers they want. I didn’t expect it to help that much but my initial score on practice tests has gone up a lot since I started taking the CAT exams regularly, I definitely recommend it.

I’m always at work when they have their info sessions ? I definitely want to attend one soon. I’m graduating from one of their partner schools so far with a 90 or above in everything, I’m mostly just wondering how much weight that has when you apply. Like I know a lot of schools do a rubric for the TEAS so do they just give you the max points as if you had taken the TEAS? I’m so confused about how much it actually helps your application LOL

Does anybody have any tips for studying for the ATI proctored assessments? I’m in a PN program right now and I have to take my first one next week. My grades are really good but I don’t do as good on the ATI assignments. The proctored assessment counts towards my final grade and I’m so scared that my grade is going to go down because of it. I’ve been taking the CAT exams and the practice assessments but I don’t know if any of this will be on the actual proctored assessment. Even if I get the average percentile my school only counts it as a 70. IDK if it’s like this everywhere but my school either gives you a 70, 80, or 90 with nothing in between so I’d have to do significantly better than average to get an 80. Right now I’m getting 80s/90s on the practice assessments but I’m getting average on moderate questions for the CAT exams.

Has anyone done the LPN-RN program at Nassau community college? I’m curious about the admissions process. They have on their website that if you finish an LPN program with an average of a 90 or higher, you do not have to take the TEAS or the excelsior exam. Does anyone know how much that helps with getting into the program? I’m in an LPN program right now and my average is above a 90 so I’m really interested but I’m not sure how much weight it has compared to other things. I’ve emailed them but I get very vague answers
