I submitted my application for the accelerated Summer 2010 program at ASU awhile ago, but I just realized that the February 1st deadline was coming up and wanted to see if anyone else here on allnurses.com applied or is applying. I'm so nervous, I've already applied once and didn't make it--I really, really, really, REALLY hope I can get in this time.
I'm already starting to get impatient waiting for April!!! My whole life is on hold until then! I hate that I can't apply to any other schools because I'm stuck waiting for ASU and I don't want to pay a bunch of application fees if I make it into ASU regardless. Don't get me wrong, though, I really want to get into ASU's program. I just want to get into nursing, really. It's just a little annoying that we will find out about getting into the program so late in the year .
just concentrate on the power points. For pharm definitely start to prepare for exams several days in advance, you cant possibly cram all that info in the day before the exam!
We actually have two teachers for this class. My FOR is the interim teacher, but today she told us that it's technically not her class (she didn't make the powerpoints,assignments,exam) and that they're just sharing the lecturing. Sweet!! Our exams should be the same as yours. Thanks Tarabara!!!
Eddie and I have virtually the same answers, so it'd be useless for me to share my answers for those questions. That video was pretty awkward, though... Or rather the questions we had to fill out for that video. I hope we discuss it tomorrow and don't have to turn it in. I am SO thankful for the people in class who realized we could only watch the video in-person and they told everyone else. SO thankful!! haha We also have a self-assessment due in that class tomorrow.
We DO, however, have a worksheet due in that class on Monday that we have to fill out as well! lol. We actually have quite a few worksheets and junk to do for 310! I hope they're not all busywork I'm going through and updating my master calender now... lots of red (I put assignments and tests in red haha)!
For those questions we just inferred on the general video guidelines. Some of the questions didn't have exact answers....I'm thinking we will discuss them in class tomorrow.
So... does anyone else have any idea of where to start with the Functional Health Pattern Concept Map for 310?!? I love that Blackboard will be completely down until 9pm tonight (sarcasm, haha). I have no idea what chapters/pages to read!! :uhoh21: I feel like I can't do anything without checking Blackboard... and I hate this feeling of not knowing what the heck to do.... I've sort of started the Concept Map, but I feel like I'm just stabbing in the dark and have no idea what I'm doing! I wish I would've known that Blackboard was going to be down all day today...
Thank you, Eddie!!! My Blackboard is still down and I called the helpline and they said that it *should* be back up sometime tomorrow! I guess from now on I'll have to write down all the pages just in case!
Blackboard down....how exactly are we supposed to stay updated and on top of assignments?! Oy vey! Thank you aribourne for posting, it is very helpful. At least we all have each other huh? I am off to work now, but I am going to review my saved docs and share any info I come across as well.......
I never really put much thought in to it, but yeah I always use this direct route, so I decided to go to "my.asu.edu" and see what it looked like there, and sure enough, blackboard was down. So everyone having trouble try going there directly. You may have to do http://.... instead of https:// but it should work. Someone try it and pop back on let me us know if that works.

I didn't think about using a direct link, I always just go through myASU. haha, is it sad that I don't know whether or not I should be excited or disappointed that I can get in now (I was hoping for a night off...)? haha, jk jk.
