Hello, I am new to allnurses.com and was wondering if anyone on here has also applied for ASU's spring start bsn program. Or if you have applied to their program before, and have been accepted or denied, and what your scores were. This is my first time applying there, and I'm trying not to get my hopes up because I know it's a very competitive program. My gpa out of the 13 pre-requisites was a 3.76 (I am taking my last 4 pre-requisites this semester) and I got a 100 on the math portion of the NET and a 73 on the reading portion of the NET. I, personally, am so glad they removed the essay portion, since I know that's what cost a lot of student from not getting into their program. But since now their essay has been removed, I have no way of guessing/estimating my chances compared to previous semesters since the point system is out of 6 now instead of 7. My total points is a 5.49 out of 6. So if you applied for asu's spring start nursing program, and don't mind also posting your scores on here or in a private message, that would be great! I have no idea what my chances are! Thanks for reading.
Massage, I would just call them, they were very helpful when I called to correct my missing CLEP score. I think they are somewhat used to all of us stressed out students.
We only have about another week before letters are mailed out!!!! Maybe they will get them sent out a little earlier (doubt it), but maybe! Hang in there :)
I actually just spoke the them Thurs (my confirmation letter was returned to them) and the lady said sometime the week of the 20th. She estimated it would be more like Tues or Wed when they'd get mailed. Sorry!!
+charged, where do you look?? And what was your total advancement score?? Mine was 5.486, I'm hoping it's good enough to get in! I went to myasu, then clicked on "view your admissions applicaiton status", then looked under admissions, then view status. But I think that is just showing that you have been admitted to asu as a nursing major, but not into the program...??
Okay I just called ASU college of nursing.... NO you can't check to see if you've been accepted to the program online... that was just to be accepted into asu. The lady I spoke to said they will mail the letters out either at the end of this week or end of next week...
Are you serious??? UGH! My application status never said that before, it was always blank, so I figured that was it. I called down there too, and she said the same thing... I'm so sorry guys!
I'm glad I'm not the only one getting frustrated lol. I feel like my life is on hold until I know. I need to figure out financial aid and how I'm going to take care of living expenses since I won't be able to keep my job while in this program, but I can't really do much until I know. Oh well, what's two more weeks right?
honey thats because your life IS on hold Lol.... Im the same way. I have sooo much **** to figure out so I wish they would chop chop so I can stop having panic attacks every day :)
