ASU Post-Baccalaureate BSN 2017 - Welcome

Published

Hey everyone,

I am a current post-bacc student at ASU. I wanted to start a thread for all of you who are applying for the 2017 class. Last year we had amazing support from the 2015 class, so we wanted to carry on that tradition and provide you all with the same support system. Feel free to use this thread to ask questions and seek advice. Many of my classmates will be on here answering your questions as well!

Good luck to you all!

Hi els2162420,

I would suggest purchasing a laptop instead of a tablet. I have both and I frequently encounter issues on the tablet when trying to access the blackboard website. My husband purchased a MacBook Air for this program and its been very reliable! You can purchase the textbooks as a hardcopy or e-book. I would suggest purchasing the e-books for the ctrl F function. I usually prefer a hard copy text but the ebook has been much more convenient in this program. Best of luck to you!

Hi asu99,

I have included the breakdown for our (in-state) tuition dues. As maycation stated, tuition will most likely increase. Also, here is a link to the tuition deadlines for 2016: Important Dates | ASU Students Site

I hope this helps!

Spring: $11,039.00

Summer: $11,773.00

Fall: $11,358.00

I agree with eharness. I generally love hard copy books, but for this program, I really liked the ebooks. In fact, I never opened the hard copies I had and relied strictly on the ebooks. It was way easier to find information for assignments and care plans. Also, you could access them from class without lugging them around. However, you can't buy them used and you can't sell them, so there is that factor to consider as well.

This wait is making me crazy! I just want to know already!

I'm getting so anxious- I don't know how much longer I can wait!

Check your emails guys!

Letters are finally here!

Yay! I made it! :roflmao:

So did I! Congrats everyone

WOOHOOOOOO. Now we can relax and stress about everything that needs to get done LOL

Me too, thanks for all of the info on this site, it's been super helpful.

I may have started crying when I read that I got in.
