ASU Post Bacc - 2020

U.S.A. Arizona

Published

Hi all! While the application deadline is a ways off, I just wanted to start a new thread for anyone planning to apply for ASU's PBCNP for this coming 2020 group. I've recently been accepted in to the Community Health major at ASU and am currently working on pre-reqs through Rio and my local college (residing in WA atm). How's everyone's progress so far? I'm really excited about this program and wish everyone the best of luck!

I created a visible but private group on FB by invite only.

What is the name of the group?

ASU PBCNP 2020 Cohort

I think you need to make it public, but invite only or change the privacy settings, because I am not finding the group in the search

It's there, but you have to change the search to search 'groups'. On mine it is about the 3rd one down. Or try this link....

Got it! Thanks, Tony!

@TenaciousTony I just sent a request to the FB group! Thanks!

@lariasvazquez I would love this too! Thank you for offering to do that.

Congratulations to everyone who was accepted to the program. I'm in the current cohort and last year the previous cohort met with a few of us in Tempe to talk about the program and answer some of the many questions we had. I'd like to do the same for you and I'm sure several people in our cohort will be interested as well. I'll try to follow the comments here so we can get something organized.

Do you think that you or anyone else in your cohort would be willing to take some time to speak with the incoming cohort to answer some questions about what to expect from the program?

I'll send a request to join as well. I got my acceptance email on Monday too, excited to meet you all!

Are we able to buy our textbooks through Amazon or are they ASU specific?

I believe we will find out at the orientation and after registering for classes.

Specializes in RDH to RN.

HI, I'm an alternate for the upcoming 2021 cohort.

But, not sure if it's a good idea to spend almost $200 on the backgroud check, drug test, and everything for something that I may not even get accepted on.

Were there any alternates in your cohort that got in?
