  1. I just got a seat???
  2. hello, would you recommend I buy the Kaplan book or not worth it?
  3. hello, I'm applying to the ABSN program. I have the 2020 TEAS study guide. SHould I just focus on that one and not bother buying the Kaplan review book?
  4. the only prereq I don't have is chm 152. Taking it online is extremely difficult. ?
  5. I really hope I still have a chance.
  6. That's awesome! congratulations! I'm also an alternate but I doubt I'll get in. I'm completing my requirements though incase there's a miracle.haha. I just need to submit my health clearance and just waiting on drug test results which I just did yesterday. Still hoping that there will be a chance for me.
  7. awesome. Thank you!
  8. Awesome! Is it OK if I ask what your advancement score was?
  9. That's awesome. Your HESI score is excellent. Do you have any tips? Also, which book did you use? I'm pretty bad with these kind of exams so I'm so nervous it will bring me down. The TEAS score I had was what brought me down at my ASU application even though my GPA was good.
  10. Thank you so much! I decided to still go through and complete all the requirements to retain my alternate status. A lot of things are going in my head right now because, besides spending a lot of money and time and effort on completing requirements, the thought that all of those have a high chance of just going to waste if I don't get a spot, and the fact that I have to check my email everyday to see if somebody dropped out of the program for the next few months.......it's a tough spot. But, you're right. A lot of things can happen and I just really want to take a risk and take all the chances I can get in hopes of still getting in even if it will be last minute. Still hoping and praying I get a chance for this cohort. If not, maybe there's a different program that would be better for me.
  11. Caitlyn ju caitlyn, I'm browsing this thread to get an idea of the MEPN and noticed you're a hygienist too! I'm currently working as a dental hygienist and burned out so looking into nursing to open more doors. I'm on an alternate list for the ASU accelerated BSN program, but my chances of getting in are low, so looking into the U of A MEPN program so I can apply by Dec. Did you end up doing it?
  12. Hello, everybody I'm an alternate to the ASU post-bacc cohort 2021 and looking at other options since there's a high chance I won't make it at ASU to start this Jan. The U of A MEPN program was my backup. Any tips on getting ready to apply, and any other info you can give me about this program. I'm really devastated since I wanted to get done by Dec through ASU, but maybe it wasn't for me
  13. HI, I'm an alternate for the upcoming 2021 cohort. But, not sure if it's a good idea to spend almost $200 on the backgroud check, drug test, and everything for something that I may not even get accepted on. Were there any alternates in your cohort that got in?
  14. Allison, are you planning on getting all the requirements done? I'm so torn between wanting to still do it even though I may not get in, but sometimes it's still $200 that may go to waste ? So I don't know what to do.
  15. I was put on an alternate list so I don't know if I'l get in or not. Does anybody know what are the chances of getting in as an alternate from previous batches? Congratulations to everybody who got in!
