I would be having heir interview already, any day from now. I would like to ask any idea or information on the way their interview goes?thanks in advance!

Hi! Just called up Asian hospital today (Jan 31 2011) and was advised that my application is lined up for exam. Actually, I submitted my papers to them back on july 2010 but my application was only encoded last November, which is quite a long wait. Anyway, atleast I have something to look forward to. By the way, it's not Patient Care Services who handles applications anymore. It's now the HRD. And sad to say, they are not accepting applications anymore, currently freeze hiring. Any tips for the exam?

When you called AHMC, how did you know that your application has only been encoded last november? I submitted mine last august 2010 and I haven't called them for follow up. I hope it's not too late if I call them tomorrow.

Am I suppose to follow up my application at the HR Dept's Trunk line or the phone number listed at the bottom of the requirements page/paper given to us? Hope someone could help me. Thanks.

Well the HR staff will ask your name and the date you submitted your papers. I believe they have a masterlist on their PC. Now once they found your name, they will inform if all your documents are complete. Also, that is the time they let you know if you are up for exam...just dial their trunkline number and as them to connect you to HR.

I tried calling them twice and the phone just keeps on ringing. When are you scheduled for exam?

they are hiring every month so don't lose hope. we have this website that can only be accessed by their employees since all of their employees are given domain accounts for the hospital information system that's why we are able to access even hr's monthly activities because they involve their employees in different seminars and trainings for career growth. been through waiting so i know how you feel. while waiting i've also worked as a volunteer nurse, lose hope but still keeping up my faith. nonetheless, god will give what your heart truly desires. prayers and hardwork. good luck guys.

hi just wanna ask if for this month they are hiring?? and by hiring you mean to be an employee right? is it necessary that the applicant already has experience or any basic training? coz i only have the basic requirements which are BLS and IVT, never had the basic training yet.. thanks for your reply!

are they particular on your board rating?

Hi to all. I would like to know if ASIAN HOSPITAL and MEDICAL CENTER is still accepting training programs. I'm still here in Brunei Darussalam and will be back in the Philippines this April 13. I've heard that they have several requirements (like other hospitals) before you can undergo their Basic Training Skills. Kindly give me details for the following:

Training Program:

Training Fee:

Duration of the Training:

Requirements:

Contact Information:

Thank you very much in advance to those who can provide me info. God bless

^ to answer all of your questions, they deploy nurses for employment and not for training. they will never risk their status and high class standards to accept trainees, volunteers, etc. unlike other hospitals.

they're not particular with board rating. mine is 76.8%. as long as you pass their exams and interviews, you are good :)

experience is a PLUS but NOT a MUST. good luck! :)

bettyboop09 is right, as long as you pass their exams and you make it through the screening process they will hire you.. having a good board rating can make a huge impact and could make you land the job earlier than the others but it's not really a mandatory to have a high rating.. just remember that a lot of their current staff nurses have multiple applications abroad like Qatar, Bahrain, UAE, Saudi, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand (let's not forget the US), so once in a while nurses leave.. some of them even leave by groups/batches.. plus, when you get to pass by SLEX you'll notice the second hospital tower.. that's a sure-ball-hit that they will be needing a large number of nurses sooner.. also, please take note that since the nursing industry has boomed a few years back, their database of aspiring applicants also quadrupled.. so, before giving them the requirements, make sure you have completed all the things needed.. you wouldn't want your application to be on second or third priority, right?! meanwhile, try to do volunteer work somewhere else.. experience is a plus factor for the managers (especially if your aiming for a spot in the Critical Care and Emergency Services)...

hi.... i just wanna ask if anyone here had their final interview at asian hospital? i just wanna have idea if what questions will they ask... i hope that the final interview would just be a formality...

Hi. I've been hired na recently (although I was told that training for a few days is required)... I was wondering as to whether there is an entrance for employees only? Other hospitals have an entrance for employees and another entrance for patients and accompanying family. And do I need to log-in as such? I forgot to ask this then and thought I could ask here..
