I can't personally tell more about Asian since I am not working their. I am just basing my opinion on my friends' problems. Anyway, it's case to case basis, a problem for my friend might not be a bigger deal for you. I guess the very demanding patients/consultants (sometimes seniors also - but come to think of it all workplaces have toxic seniors) and low salary sums it all. Hehe.. I can't tell you more but I can tell you more about PGH because it is where I am working. Hehe.. I forgot there's a separate thread about pgh. I guess no one here is interested with my beloved hospital.

hi, i recently joined the yahoogroups of pgh. and it says there that they are currently not hiring. im trying to complete my requirements though, but i wonder when will they start accepting again. they've been telling about this volunteer program in pgh, but they said that it is no way related to nursing. may i ask for how long have you been working there?
@khuslapos
nice to know you were born here
@ jesjay
Just what I have posted in the other thread, the volunteer program being offered by the UP-Pahinungod is not related in nursing, if you want to know more please visit the thread about being a volunteer (because this is off topic in this thread). I am about to turn two years old here in pgh. I graduated 2006, I started working here in 2007. (there's a thread about pgh, if you want to know more)

Yes, life is unfair. But there's a degree of being unfair that we have to tolerate and not tolerate (depends on your standards).
