Are you a citizen or permanent resident?
Iam a permanent resident getting my citizenship this year.
Check out the military nursing forum. There is little need for nurses right now, though critical care experience may help. You already know your foreign degree is not acceptable

Without citizenship no chance, can't even start the process
Military is very selective right now too
Yes but they told me if i get a masters degree here in US which im currently enrolled, it is possible that i can get accepted. They told me that they want exp nurses now, so i guess i will try again once my masters is done.
In the army nurse corp they do accept legal residents.
No they don't, you have to be a citizen to be a commissioned officer. I was an Army recruiter.....Even for reserve nurses you need to be a citizen and have permanent residency in the US, meaning you can't live abroad.

Also there really isn't a need for Army med surg or ICU nurses (We are full up even with experience). You can apply but I assure you that it won't change for while.
I see, well i will be getting my citizenshipthis year anyway. Thanks for your input guys!!
I see! Well thanks for your input. Im not done with my masters yet anyway til 2017 hehehe just wanted to know, hopefully by that time, they need nurses thanks alot!!

If it helps, typically OR is the most critically manned specialty in general. I know the Air Force still is at ~75% OR nurse manning. That doesn't mean they have the money to direct commission that entire 25%, but you chances are probably best there.

By the way, it's not "corp" like a corporation. It's corps, as in a body of people doing similar work. Not the same thing. Good luck with the remainder of your program. :)
