Just wondering if anyone else is preparing their packet for the upcoming selection board?

Yep, hopefully getting into the October selection board. Went to MEPS last Friday and passed with 0 waivers. Now just a matter of dotting the i's and crossing the t's.

Well, good luck! I've completed my packet and I'm just waiting on the board to start the selection process. My recruiter told me the board meets in early October. Did your recruiter give you exact dates?

I have completed my packet and will submit this year also. Are you guys sure about the October board?? Someone I know who works at HRC has told me the board will meet in November.

I'll be submitting my packet for reserves this year.. don't have enough experience for active duty boards yet. But as far as i know, everything is due by the beginning of October and the board meets like the second week of November or so..

Just confirmed with my recruiter the board is meeting on 1 November this year and the deadline is NLT 16 Oct to submit your packet.

Last year our board met 16 November, and I was notified on 1 or 2 December.

My AMEDD recruiter told me that the first selection board will meet on October 18th for the new Fiscal Year. I know that's different than some of the others. I'm wondering if there's a different selection board for Reserve and Active (I'm going for Reserve).

Just waiting to finish up my packet now. Only have a couple of more forms to sign and I'll be good...hopefully.:bowingpur lol

I'm applying for the reserves. My recruiter said my packet was going for an Oct 4th board and that he would have the results around one week later.

He also said that I probably wouldn't be able to go to BOLC for about a year. I was wondering, how do I start drilling with my reserve unit when I haven't had any sort of introductory course to the military customes and procedures?
