Hi all, I'm new to this site (just joined today). But I've been lurking for a few weeks. I'm applying for the Aria Health SON and would love to meet others who are applying for the September 2012 academic year.

7 days later? you need a two step tb from your doc. u get the one, then they check it 24-48 hrs later. whats the 7 days about

or maybe its 48-72...something like that

@bumblebee the second tb test has to be done within 7days of the first. they read result three days afterwards.

shrug. i dont remember doing that but OKKK :)

I am definitely waiting til the last minute to get these documents scanned! Yikes, but once that's done, next up is orientation!!! :D

@ Parker, you definitely need the 2 step tb test done. Were you able to get the 2nd tb shot at the docs?

@ Ayanna, I am right there with ya with the hep b series! As long as we submit and scan that form that we are in process, we should be fine.

@kristin ...yeah as long as you scan the in process page you're fine. But I started the series in november and I'm suppose to submit the completed series paper in July.

Has any one else's transfer credits been added to the fonis page??? Mine page is still blank. I assuming they're going in alphabetical order, with 'W' I surely have a long wait. :-\ lol

Hey Bumblebee:

Yes I got the first TB test done and 48 hours later I had my results read and it was negative. So I figured I was good, but when I was reading over the health forms we needed to submit I noticed it said in bold letters 2 TB tests need to be done. The first one than 7 days later a second one...regardless of the results.

I asked the nurse about it, an she said it is common for some employers and students in health fields to need 2 TB tests done back to back for safety measures...then only 1 each year after.

I know I thought it was a bit much... but it sounds like it might be something Aria started more recently if you didn't have to get two done when you started.

Awarren ... my credits haven't been added yet either. I want to know..because i'm hoping all my classes transfer so I can cut out 2 trimesters! :)

How many credits do you think are needed to transfer in order to cut out 2 trimesters?

I should be able to cut out the two psu trimesters....hopefully
