Dog-gone it... I'm a pansy! But I hate being a pansy!
What are you? Are you a rose, a bird of paradise, or maybe an orchid?
Or are you, like me, more easily described as a pansy, a weed, or an expensive ornamental grass?
As a nurse, patients deserve the strong, sure type... certainly!
Patients deserve a strong and graceful rose, not a pansy who might wilt at the first sign of uncertainty or trouble.
I've been told that shyness (or even reservedness) is good and well as a child, but a shame in adulthood.
Can I ever earn respect from patient or co-worker if I don't become a more dignified, confident nurse.
Are assertiveness classes in order?
Roses, orchids, ever sure sunflowers, throw seeds of wisdom my way!
Truthfully, a little over the top on the flower thing? Maybe?

I'm probably a dandelion!!
I am feeling rather pleased today, tho - went to a new dentist to have a tooth pulled. Before I would let him touch my mouth, he had to convince me that he would NOT vote for Hilary - and by the time he and I were finished we had converted the rest of the staff. That sort of thing ALWAYS makes my day!
