Absolutely! My sister-in-law is waiting to qualify to be on the heart transplant list and just 2-3 wks ago, her doctors have found that both kidneys are failing. She'll have the fistula formed in the next month & start dialysis around the first of the year.

I am....or was. But nobody wants my spare parts now because of CA. I'd hoped to be of some use.

No. I don't qualify now, and for personal reasons I did not want to be one in the past.
I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, but it's a personal decision.
Sorry, didn't realize I already responded.

I would 100% be up to donating any organs that would help save a life! But unfortunately I'm not allowed to donate organs or blood due to the fact that I'm openly gay, and the state of California doesn't allow people who have had sex with someone of the same gender and/or anal sex within the past 10 years to donate organs or blood. (Sad, but true)

Oh California... when will they get it? That is CRAZY.

Nobody should ever get flamed for a decision like this :) It's not a morality test- just a decision.
