Are there any Oklahoma ABSN students out there?

I would like some information on the program, how do you like it? Would you pick this school again if you had the chance? I am applying to the program that is being held here in San Diego. I am nervous about the online portion of the program, is it do-able? :uhoh3:

Question: Did you do yours online or on the phone for both your stafford and alternative loans?

I esigned my application. I did not see anything about the stafford loan either but I think it comes from the school. It looks like the alternative loan dispurses in august so I hope the other loans cover the summer!

Has anyone tried to fill out the Stafford Loan thru Wells Fargo? I didn't see our school on the list of schools, and when I called they said that our schol wasn't eligible for Stafford Loans until after July 1st???

And did you guys do the entrance exam for the loans?

I did do the entrance exam online, its pretty quick and easy, same stuff from our first degree, LOL.

That is what the promissory note said, dispursement is august-may. I spoke with Wellsfargo and they said I need to contact OU to change the dates, I talked with OU they said to send an email to them to change the dates of disbursement for the alternative loan.

ok, just for clarification...the one additional book we need to order is for nurs 3034: harkreader,fundamentals of nursing:caring and clinical judgement...right?

what additional drug guide is she talking about? does she mean the ackley book nursing diagnosis handbook??

also, i noticed we no longer need the potter & perry fundamentals of nursing book, are you all keeping it or selling it/returning it?

any input from any of you is greatly appreciated. i feel like i'm going nuts over this, lol. :bugeyes:

hi everyone

congrats to you all for getting into the program....I have some questions for you if you dont mind....I am a stay at home mom now of soon to be 2 kids and I am interested in this program as well......I sent the transcript and I will find out next week what I have left but I know I do have still at least 5 prereq to take ....so I want to find out some info please to see how doable it will be for me to attend this program

Did any of you take prereq online? I forgot to mention I am here in San Diego as well....so if you took them online where did you do it?

Also what is the schedule for the nursing program that you were told about? from what I got from your posts there are 2 days for clinicals but what about the online classes? what time during the day ? are they everyday? and how many?

sorry if I ask too much but I am trying to figure out if I can do it
