First time user! I was wondering if there was anyone applying for NU cohort 49. This would be my second time applying for this program and I have been wondering if this would be a good time or when it would be good to apply again. The cohort I applied for was very competitive, the cut-off was 89 points!! Normally it's at about 82-83 points I believe. My final score was 80.7. I am interested in retaking my TEAS since I scored an 80% the first time to raise my score.
I would like to know applicants gpa and teas score if they've already taken it.

I'm surprised there aren't many alternates from any previous application periods (just one!?). Especially since the last cohort was very competitive. Considering the average TEAS and GPA I think lots of us here have a solid chance. I'm a little curious about the essay scores but I remember Erica saying that on average people receive a score of 4, sometimes 3 or 3.5.
I just spoke with Erica on the phone and she said that she is working on getting the points together all day today and we will hear by Friday! I'm hoping for the news to come soon. I am so anxious!
I have been following this thread for a while but this is my first post. I got Alternate for this cohort. I called and spoke to my advisor who said that my overall points were 87.05 so it was another competitive cohort. Congratulations to those who were accepted. Hopefully I make it in this cohort as an alternate!
Wow that is high. What were your individual scores, seven13? Seven13, you may want to email the actual nursing department and find out your specific scores, because an 87 sounds way to high to just be an alternate. The last cohort cutoff was 84.82 and that was considered very competitive.
