Congrats everyone! I got accepted too. I can't wait to meet you all! ^ I'm pretty sure we will get that e-mail fairly soon. I haven't gotten it yet either, but I'll be patient. I'm just glad I got in lol. The nursing department must be swamped at this point!

^ Wow that's wonderful news. Thank you Jancj! I considered contacting the nursing department as well, but I figured I would just be patient and wait. I'm surprised there aren't many alternates from any previous application periods (just one!?). Especially since the last cohort was very competitive. Considering the average TEAS and GPA I think lots of us here have a solid chance. I'm a little curious about the essay scores but I remember Erica saying that on average people receive a score of 4, sometimes 3 or 3.5.

I think you may be right KylieSD. I think we'll find out real soon though. As long as we know the result before the deadline of the next cohort application date lol (I hope none of us have to go through this again!) Good luck to all!

I'm pretty sure the health care experience was for survey purposes.

The proctor, Erica, told us that we should expect the result of our application on September 16 (or around that date). Hang in there guys!

Sorry I took long to reply; I took mine at SDSU but regardless of where you take the exam it's always going to be on the ATI website. As you take the exam, there will be a timer. I'm sure the times I listed are the times for each section on the actual exam. I don't see why any school would give you less time than the website allows. But if NU actually does then *shakes fist at National*

^ TEAS time limits according to the ATI book: Reading: 58 minutes (48 questions) Math: 51 minutes (34 questions) Science: 66 minutes (54 questions) English and Language Usage: 34 minutes (34 questions) Total: 209 minutes (170 questions) Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong. When I took the exam for the first time a few weeks back, it took me about 2 hours to do everything and I got a strong score. Science is especially packed with a&p and chem. But the exam has a little bit of everything in the ATI manual.

Wait. Was 89 seriously the minimum score for cohort 48? I heard that number was a little lower. I know someone who got in with an overall score of 87. Anyway, first post here. Like the rest of you guys I'll be taking my exam and essay next week. Best of luck to all!
