Dang seven13, that means you were probably so close to the top 49. You were probably 50. Hopefully someone defers or just doesn't want to attemd any longer and you get in!

Wow that is high. What were your individual scores, seven13? Seven13, you may want to email the actual nursing department and find out your specific scores, because an 87 sounds way to high to just be an alternate. The last cohort cutoff was 84.82 and that was considered very competitive.

Update: I spoke with someone today and they are hoping by Friday to have everything sorted and sent out. The person I spoke with confirmed what Motuofm mentioned about the TEAS average, 76.3%. Also they said the average GPA was 3.25 for Cohort 49. So maybe this will help some of you that are stressing out. That means the the person sitting at the 50% mark of all the applicants has around 63 points not including the essay and they are taking the top 37% of all the applicants (49 of the 130)

That is weird as I was told the TEAS score was 82.3%. I wonder are there multiple groupings because of different groups? I don't think that matter though, but I am not sure. I really hope we find out sooner than later!

Just an update from what I have been told by the nursing department. There are currently 130 students that are being considered for cohort 49 and the average TEAS score was an 82.3% for this particular cohort. Hopefully will be finding out here in the next couple of days!!

4.0 and 84.3%. Not as good as I was hoping on the TEAS. I finished, but ran out of time on the essay as well. So, we'll see what happens. It's all out of my hands at this point. Good luck to everyone

The average for cohort 49 was 78%. A 90% would be very competitive depending on your accompanying GPA.

Hello everyone How does everyone feel about their TEAS exam? I was talking with the women that was administering the exam and she said that the average was around 78%.

Hi, just like most people applying to cohort 49 I will be taking the TEAS V next week for NU. I was wondering if you don't mind me asking what do you consider to be a strong score for the TEAS V exam? If you don't mind sharing your score great or if you just know what a competitive score is. Thank you, Also, I was told that you have 3.5 hours in total to finish the ATI exam. That's including the actual timed sections along with any breaks that you may be allowed while not on a specific section. However, there seems to be different numbers flying all over the place so take it for what it is.

I just spoke with someone the other day from the office of the nursing department and the cut off from what I was told was 86 for cohort 48. This was the most competitive the lady I spoke with had seen, apparently. Roughly 171 are applying for cohort 49 and they are taking around 40 students. The rest of the spots are for those that have made the cut in the past but deferred their cohort to a later date.
