Are there any National University cohort 49 applicants?

Published

Hello!

First time user! I was wondering if there was anyone applying for NU cohort 49. This would be my second time applying for this program and I have been wondering if this would be a good time or when it would be good to apply again. The cohort I applied for was very competitive, the cut-off was 89 points!! Normally it's at about 82-83 points I believe. My final score was 80.7. I am interested in retaking my TEAS since I scored an 80% the first time to raise my score.

I would like to know applicants gpa and teas score if they've already taken it.

Excited to hear from you 😃

so your total points is a combination of 3 scores... gpa worth max of 40 teas score max of 40 and your essay which is max of 20 =100 so take your teas score and multiply by .40 ex 86 *.40=34.4 do this for your gpa as well and then you can ask your adviser your essay score too... this added will give you total out of 100

wow, thats high, total score 87? and only alternate??? hum, somethings off with that... what was your point breakdown, gpa, teast etc

I did email the actual nursing department for my scores because what my counselor told me does seem off. She said that I got a 4/5 on my essay (16 points). I know that my TEAS was 82 (32.8 points) and math/science GPA 3.526 (35.26 points). So my calculations have me at 84.06 points total. Counselor said I had 87.05 points. Don't know where these supposed 3 other points came from. Guess I'll find out when Nursing emails me back.

Dang seven13, that means you were probably so close to the top 49. You were probably 50. Hopefully someone defers or just doesn't want to attemd any longer and you get in!

I got accepted as well. Congrats y'all. But I don't know if Im still going. lol

Hi All,

I am new to the group, but I have been accepted to cohort 49 as well! Congrats to everyone who received an acceptance!!!

Question -- has anyone started a Facebook page? I know past cohort have done this and they use it to ask each other questions and communicate with each other. Just wanted to know so that I can look it up and join.

Thanks!

I don't think so. I can start one if no one else has.

Let me know what the page is called if you make one :)

That would be awesome. Most have created a closed group. I can also create one as well.

I tried to make one but you have to add a friend to it and I am not friends with anyone on Facebook from this cohort that I know of!

BTW I received an email from the nursing department (Erica) today saying the cutoff for this cohort was 84.26.

I created one. Search for National University San Diego Cohort 49. If you need to add me as a friend to join, feel free. Once you are a member you can add anyone you may know in the cohort.
