ARC / SCC Fall 2017

Published

Hello everyone. I wanted to start a discussion for people who have applied to ARC , SCC, or both for the fall 2017 class. Applications for both schools are due at the end of the month. I applied for both, praying I get excepted. Anyhow, say hello and stay in touch with updates, info. Etc....

Ok- I cannot be the only one on here who saw "I was accepted...." and had a minor heart attack! I didn't apply to SCC and when I saw that- my stomach dropped thinking it was about ARC! I vote we separate the schools into separate threads next time!!

Hi all... I just received my rejection email from SCC for both FA17 and SP18. So it looks like they already picked the students and alternates. Congrats on all who got a spot :) looks like it's on to studying for the TEAS 6.

Man, I have not received any email.

Me too! Still says received for SCC and qualified for ARC, getting nervous!!!

Do you know what number you were on the list?

I was like number 4 at SCC

do they send out all accept, then all reject? or just in order of applicant either accept or reject?

Hello all,

As far as I know the acceptance letters go out at same time to all the accepted applicants . The rejection letters are sent a few days to a wks after that. That is how it was for ARC last semester. Also in the previous semesters when I got rejected the online status never was changed, stayed qualified ( for ARC)

SCC sends notifications first, then ARC then Sierra ( from personal experience )

It really sucks that Sierra only notifies the accepted applicants...

Well In other good news, I got accepted into the LVN Program at SCC for Spring 2018 :) I'll take it, but I'll still apply to the ADN program as I do the program.

Hmm, I wonder why there was no fall 2017? I also got into the spring 2018 for lvn! Congratulations!!

Congrats to you as well. I was hoping to get into an ADN program, because I feel like the LVN will take me 3 semesters out of the way, but then again, I guess you can say it's more experiences and maybe it can help in a ADN/BSN program (knowledge wise).

Anyone else not receive any notification from SCC?
