ARC / SCC Fall 2017

Published

Hello everyone. I wanted to start a discussion for people who have applied to ARC , SCC, or both for the fall 2017 class. Applications for both schools are due at the end of the month. I applied for both, praying I get excepted. Anyhow, say hello and stay in touch with updates, info. Etc....

I applied to SCC last year. Application status did change to qualified, however I did not get accepted.

My second time too and I was #7 this time. My status changed last year about two weeks after the application period ended.

Specializes in Emergency Department.

I was a student at SCC about 3 years ago and I applied many, many times under some previous processes they used. Bottom line is that if your application status changes to "Application Qualified" it means your application was accepted into the random selection pool, in short, you meet minimum qualifications for acceptance into the program. This does not mean your application was actually accepted for entry into the program. That process will be done separately, once all the candidates have been screened into basically "qualified" or "not qualified." Usually between 5 and 7 weeks after the close of the filing period is when they'll start sending out acceptance letters. Keep a close watch on those email inboxes!

Mailed in Feb.27th; received status Mar.2nd.

ARC Application status changed today. "Application qualified" fingers crossed...

First time applying, dropped off application second week of February and my status changed to "Applicant Qualified" today. I was #43 or #46 on the sign in sheet.

Has anyone had their SCC status change?

I turned in my application on 2/27 if I'm not mistaken. I was number 222 when I signed in and my status changed to application qualified on 3/21.

At ARC, or SCC?

I applied to arc

First time applicant to SCC. Mine was "received" on 2/15, and I'm still waiting to be qualified. I entered with 72 points, so hopefully it will qualify this week. Has yours changed yet?
