ARC / SCC Fall 2017

Hello everyone. I wanted to start a discussion for people who have applied to ARC , SCC, or both for the fall 2017 class. Applications for both schools are due at the end of the month. I applied for both, praying I get excepted. Anyhow, say hello and stay in touch with updates, info. Etc....

Both of my apps for SCC and ARC just say received. Anyone drop off this week? curious how many applicants there are on the sign in sheets....

Same with mine. It can take a couple weeks though. If I remember correctly, ARC didn't update my status till right around the deadline. Let's hope there isn't too many people applying this semster :)

On top of the sign-in sheet at eServices, don't forget that there are mail-in applications as well. Like mine! Good vibes everyone... Let's all hope for great news for all of us!

Application status changed to "application qualified" today.

ARC application changed to qualified today. SCC still just says that its accepted. Now comes to long and treacherous waiting game.

For those of you whose status changed, what number were you when you dropped off your application?

I was number 52 I believe. For those who are worried about status changes, don't be! Usually they are quicker to change those who have applied before than those who haven't applied before. I know the first time I applied it took forever! Have patience and before you know it, your status will change!

Yep, completely agree with bfoster618; this will be my fourth time now. My vary first application took some time to change to qualified.

Second time applying to ARC, I signed in at #9 on the sign in sheet. Still "application received." Maybe working from the bottom up? Im sure there are a lot to go through. Also, on the SCC nursing page, there is a note on the flow chart stating that your status will remain as "application received," unless you are excepted. Not sure if that is accurate, because this is my first time applying to SCC.
