APU 2+2 SUMMER 2019

Published

Hello, I just wanted to start a thread for APU 2+2 SUMMER 2019 cohort. That way we can all share admission experience, interviews, and acceptance. I turned in my application the beginning of January. Anyone else applied for this program and cohort??

Hello! I was accepted for Summer admissions into the Victorville 2+2 BSN program. I’m looking for any students who are serious about having a roommate while enrolled in this program. I live in Placentia currently, and don’t want to commute to Victorville everyday. I would like to split an apartment with someone in the program if possible. Please let me know if you’re interested.

I am interested. Only thing is I am an alternate for the summer so if I don’t start in May then I will be starting in August

Awesome! Congrats! If I don’t find someone for summer I can wait til August too so keep me posted.

Does anyone know if there is a Facebook page for this cohort? So we can communicate better. I can’t seem to find one for this class.

I’ve been accepted too! I’m actually an alternate for summer if not then I’m guaranteed a spot for the fall.

I dont understand what APU's system of admission is I have a pretty decent GPA, submitted all of the requirements a head of time to this date have not recieved a single form of notification letting me know where I stand. I keep bothering my admissions counselor Hanna but she doesn't have any answers. Ive called the nursing department many times left multie messages but no call returned. Anyone else in the same situation?

I am also an alternate! If you start in August and need a roommate as well, I would be interested too!

How are you guys paying for school? What loans are you taking out?

@Queenta Daba I had my competency test on 3/21 in the IE as well. We must’ve been in the same group. Yes, everyone has the option to test out of nutrition and pharmacology Each test is $100. I am not sure if I’m going to attempt to test out.

Do you know anyone who have taking the nutrition and pharmacology test b4. Just want to fine out if it worth trying. Please let me know thanks.

If you are selected for admission during orientation they will have a financial aid representative from main campus available for you to discuss loan options for paying for school. There are also local scholarships provided in the area that you can apply for as well!

Do you have the book list

You will get a booklist at orientation. You can rent most of your books however you utilize your first semester books in subsequent classes so I would buy them used if possible but purchasing them is your best bet because you use them for care plans and projects in future semesters as a reference.

Do you think is a good idea to take the nutrition and pharmacology test?, and it’s multiple choice. Please let me know b4 I sign up for it tomorrow. Thanks again.
