  1. Has any one been accepted at the Monrovia Campus any denial letters for the upcoming January 2020 start date?Only comments Ive seen are people taking tests no interviews anymore? I know they recieved hundreds of applicants again and only getting high GPAs. Any updates?
  2. @brittybee awesome news wishing you the best!!!
  3. Did you apply for the lvn bsn program at the Monrovia campus? If so they had many applicants and only have 20 slots available. There have been a few students that have posted they have been chosen as alternates. Im giving up this is the second time I apply they have too many applicants its almost a lottery. Ive applied to 2 other schools. Im getting too old to be on waitlists lol. Its a great school I have many friends that have graduated from their nursing program they tell me its become more difficult to get in because of the high number of applicants. Good luck hopefully you get a call soon!!!
  4. I am so bummed I didn't want to loose hope but it seems they just have too many applicants and very limited spots. I gave it a try this is my second time applying. Some people have applied 4 times with no luck. So I have decided to apply to two other schools. Well good luck!! Keep us posted!!!!
  5. I have not recieved a call. Not sure about APU anymore its too competative too many applicants its like a lottery. Many students are being rolled over to next terms which makes it even harder for new applicants. As for the second part of my previous comment what I meant was you mentioned you have attended APU and you have a high GPA its surprising they have not contacted you. Since you have attended this school it seems you would have a bit of an advantage. But Im guessing its more of luck wether they call an applicant. I have applied to two other schools so Im hoping Ill get a call from one of them. K well hope you get in.
  6. @Nan14 have you recieved a call? You mentioned you have attended APU and you feel your GPA is competitive?
  7. So they are charging 300 for a test and no interview? Is this a new process. Thought it was interview first then the competency exam? What if a person doesnt pass the exam what then?
  8. @ yellow 911 Finally someone posts good news so no interview they called you to go straight in to the test? Or are you one of the people they rolled over from last term? Great news hope you get in!!!!
  9. Hi!! No I havent heard anything yet. Im trying to remain hopeful. Ok well wish you luck. Ill be be praying.
  10. Hi have you recieved a call yet for an interview?
  11. I retook chemistry and micro they were old almost 9 years old. I took them at ELAC. It was hard but I managed to get an A in both. I also took speech again that class was over 10 years old at cerritos online managed to get an A as well. But not call yet. Good luck hope you get the call.
  12. Hey I remember you from last term I also got denied acceptance I hope I get an interview at least this time my GPA went up I hope it helps. Good luck this time around. No calls yet I have my phone on at all times so nerve racking. No interview yet crossing my fingers this is the second time I am applying. Good luck praying for everyone.
  13. Hello to all this would be the second time I apply to APU's LVN to BSN program. The last time I was denied acceptance because of my GPA I met the minimum requirements but there were candidates with much higher GPAS. I re took all of my sciences have only one B the rest all As. GPA went up but not sure if it will be enough. I am really starting to loose hope because all nursing programs are so competitive nearly impossible to get it. Im keeping my fingers crossed and praying I at least get an interview. Has anyone recieved a call for an interview?
