APU 2+2 Nursing Spring 2021

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello,

Anyone else apply for APU's Spring 2021 nursing program? I got an email the other day regarding more locations for the 2+2 program. I'm hoping that means more students will be accepted. This is my third time applying, so I am really hoping my third time is the charm!

For those of you who have gotten in would you mind sharing your stats? science GPA volunteer or other medical experience? ? Thank you! I am hoping to apply after this semester.

I was accepted as an alternate for Spring and guaranteed Summer 2021. My Science GPA was 3.32 and overall GPA was 3.46. I didn't really have much volunteer work to share but I am a veteran as well.

When did they call you?

Hello everyone, I’m just checking in to see if any of my community college transfers have heard anything? My anxiety is at an all time high and from what I can see on the thread only the LVN applicants have been notified of acceptance. I know with COVID there is a delay, but I figured we would have heard back by now. I’m praying for good news this week, but with orientation around the corner my chances are looking thin.

I am a transfer student and I was accepted as an alternate for Spring, but guaranteed Summer. I was notified on November 20th and today I was notified they need me to fill a spot for Spring! I will be attending the IE campus

Do you live in the HD by any chance? I live near San Bernardino and was accepted to the HD campus...LOL

I can’t believe another day without any news. Are the 2+2 students the only ones left to be notified? I am so disappointed

Nothing yet.... I would just like to know either way. It will be nine weeks tomorrow. Really frustrated.

Hello!  What campus did everyone select?

Hello, Everyone I selected IE,Hd and Monrovia.

Sorry everyone kinda late to this, but just to catch up with everyone I am not an LVN. I got accepted July 2020 with the news to make an APU account through email. Regarding my GPA and experience with applying I was denied the first time with a 4.0 in science GPA and 3.4 cumulative total. All that changed from my denial to acceptance was more volunteer experience, better written resume and a revision of my one page statement. I say to keep applying no matter what because they will keep taking people its just a very crowded and a competitive program. I been anxiously waiting to hear any update or what has to be done on my part to make sure I am ready. I have had all my additional requirements done as posted on the 2+2 program guidelines.  I even went as far as emailing and bugging the program organizer on where to submit all that info. He said that we will be submitting it into the program listed in the orientation email via Zoom on Dec. 7th. Heres some info if you guys are not aware about there will also be a financial aid workshop I got emailed about it so make sure you guys check. It will be held Tue Dec. 8th 2020 5:30-6:30 via zoom.

Is anyone else freaking out about program cost and loans? Does anyone have valuable info on where to apply for student grants and scholarships they can share?

I was emailed to set up an APU account but nothing has changed on my portal for a letter of acceptance of denial so I’m just waiting still

That happened to me, and a few hours later I got a call from my program advisor saying I was accepted! Congrats

I just added my classes that were listed in the orientation email I received, and am terrified with the cost! If you find any information please share!!
