APU LVN-BSN Program Fall 2019

Hello,

I wanted to start a thread to connect with other fellow nurses who applied at APU for the LVN-BSN program for Fall 2019. I applied in Monrovia campus. Did anyone else applied there or the IE campus? I would love to hear from you guys. I would also like to hear from people that are in the program. I want to know what to expect and how is the learning experience so far. ☺️

@Meldyjp IE campus. The test is so expensive thats why Im worried!

I believe they give you an hour or maybe more. I finished in 20mins. I know the exam is ridiculously expensive but they’re goal is to make you pass. Trust me if you review enough and if you have an experience working as an LVN, this exam is no brainier. I believe IE will let you know right away if you pass or not.

I agree with meldy, they do in fact let you know on the spot and review your own test. Its really not that bad. Get some good sleep, and arrive confident. Youll pass.

I passed! I start in august at the IE campus. I dont think I will test out of Pharm and nutrition. Did anyone get a list of books needed for august start? Whose all starting in august?

Congrats ! the book list should have been included as an attachment with your email. Why arent you trying to test out? If you pass you save a lot of money and free up your thursdays

Its been such a long time since I've done any pharm or nutrition, and the last day to take the test is Friday I dont think ill have enough time to study and make sure i pass. Id rather play it safe ? are you going to the IE location?

Im waiting for email attachment so I can start on pricing out the books. Have you checked to see how much the books are costing? Lets keep in touch! [email protected] cant wait to meet the class, do you know what cohort class we will be in?
