APU ELM Summer 2018

Hi Everyone!

I don't see a thread for prospective students for Azusa Pacific University's ELM program for the Summer 2018 so I decided to start one.

I am Iliana and I submitted my completed application back in May. As the deadline approaches July 1st, I hope we can support each other and update one another as we move through the process of applying, interviewing, and getting admitted!

Has anyone heard yet about admittance? I think the committee was going to be getting together today to go over applicants!

No, I haven't heard from APU. Which campus did you apply too? And how long ago was your interview

I applied to the San Diego Campus. My interview was July 13th. How about you?

I applied to the Inland Empire campus and had my interview on July 6th. It's been a waiting game since then.

--------------------- let me know during my interview that the committee was meeting on August 7th and would be letting us know about admission about a week later. I applied and interviewed at the SD Campus :D

Someone else in the thread was saying they would be calling us in September, but I remember them saying August as well. I'm hoping sooner rather than later. So anxious to find out!

Hi @Britknee, what location did you apply too? I applied to the Monrovia campus and they told me they would notify us beginning of September.

I applied to the San Diego campus. Maybe there's a difference depending on the campus?

I just received an automatically generated email from APU saying my status has been changed to "student". I haven't received any other correspondence. Usually you get a letter saying "Congratulations!". Not sure what to think about this....

Anyone else get the below email???

I got in!!! I got the same email! When you log in you'll see that your status has changed at the bottom where the green dot is. It looks like they bumped me into Spring 2019 start, which is okay but I really hope they can push me into a sooner cohort! I applied to the SD campus :cat:
