APU ELM Spring 2019

Hello everyone,

I am in the process of applying to APU ELM program for Spring of 2019. I was just looking to connect to other applicants. I will be applying to the main campus. If anyone has any questions feel free to post, I have found the older forums from previous cohorts to be very helpful when looking for advice.

It's probably just saying you completed the application and has been there since you turned in the app?

Yes, the green dot was there before. The only thing that changed in my portal was that it showed spring 2019 next the to the green dot. Honestly, I don't think I got in. Congratulations to those who got in!

Im confused, I actually just activated my portal because for some reason I totally missed the email a while ago to create our student portals! I didn't receive anything by mail or email yet, but under admissions after I click student center, I have a table thing that says Azusa Pacific University then Nursing GR then 2019 Spring and then a green circle. It seems like that may or may not mean something? Is there something that specifically changed for those who got in on there portal since Im not even sure what mine looked like before?

That was there when I was an applicant. Once I was admitted my portal changed and now there are tabs that say My page, Student Center, and Grad Pro Resources. I also have access to a APU gmail. My term changed when I was admitted but that is because I was admitted for Fall 2018 instead of Spring 2019 lol

@mani95 which campus did you apply to?

Inland empire, when I spoke to Judith hadn't even submitted her list on Friday and the only way people where finding out was calling. Their portal won't switch over to student until she submits the list

@aschreiman thank you! Yea Im not sure what to think I have the student center and my page tab but I don't see the other information. I specifically applied to the San Diego campus! But I mentioned during the interview that I was open to going to any campus. I don't think I got in because most San Diego people seemed to have heard back, but every time I call the campus they tell me that decisions have been made and have been mailed out.

It's hard to say for sure you didn't get in because you didn't have a portal when they input decisions, so they can't update it if you didn't have one.

@aschreiman, yea i just realized today that I never activated my portal. I guess I'll call again tomorrow or Tuesday and ask! I was however able to login into my portal using the "sign in" rather then "applicant sign in", where the sign in is supposed to be for students only. Im not sure if that means anything either? Again guess I'll just have to call or wait to hear back to find out for sure!

I just got the notification that my portal has been updated! I'll have to call and confirm which campus it's for. But my first choice was IE.

@UCnp2017 I tried to respond to your message but it wouldn't let me send because I hadn't posted at least 15x on this site. í ½í¸‘ but this is the latest news right now. Keep your eye out for that email!
