APU ELM Spring 2019

Hello everyone,

I am in the process of applying to APU ELM program for Spring of 2019. I was just looking to connect to other applicants. I will be applying to the main campus. If anyone has any questions feel free to post, I have found the older forums from previous cohorts to be very helpful when looking for advice.

I just got the email too!!!!! I tried calling Judith but she didn't answer so I called Salvador at the IE campus and he confirmed that I was accepted! I'm literally going to die right now! Lol

And yes my first choice was IE as well! But during my interview they gave me the option to start Fall 2018 if spaces were available and I sad yes. Salvador said it didn't show my start term so I'm unsure if I'm starting in the fall or the spring.

Yay!!! We're going to nursing school!!! lol. Salvador just called me and congratulated me on my admittance. I was speechless. I couldn't put a complete sentence together. Haha! I was so stressed up until this point! Congratulations!!!

@ UCnp2017 Log in to home.apu.edu go to student center and scroll down to the bottom where the green circle is under admissions, mine said fall 2018 next to it not spring 2019, thats how I knew I was accepted for an earlier term

It says spring 2019 but it looks exactly the same as it did when my application was marked complete with the green dot and everything. Maybe I just need to wait a bit for everything to update because when I called it did not even show him. It just showed that I was accepted.

Hey, I got an email my portal had been updated around noon and Salvador just called me too and said that I accepted in the IE spring program. Congrats everyone! Can't wait to meet you!

For the IE campus I recommend you call if you havent heard back. I did not get an email so I called and spoke to the IE regional campus rep. who informed me of my decision. I look forward to meeting you all Spring 2019 for the IE campus.

Does anyone have any advice regarding financial aid and loans? I have a meeting at APU with a financial aid advisor next week, but I was told by someone from a previous class they simply make sure you complete your FASFA.

@doctav I also need to make an appointment and get loans/financial aid figured out. Unfortunately I'll need loans to cover the full program as well as living expenses for the first 18 months. Please share any feedback you receive about what types of loans are recommended ect. I'll be sure to share any good advice I come across too.
