Hello everyone,

I am in the process of applying to APU ELM program for Spring of 2019. I was just looking to connect to other applicants. I will be applying to the main campus. If anyone has any questions feel free to post, I have found the older forums from previous cohorts to be very helpful when looking for advice.

Hi hi, also for the people who got accepted, did you have any outstanding pre-reqs? I had two the research methods and the chemistry course, but during my interview the interviewer said they wouldn't accept my AP English credit for the english class requirement, although my admissions rep said it was fine to apply. ):

@cslnursing, EMT-B I'm finishing my last two prereqs this semester. I'm not sure what their policy is on AP classes, I think every school is different when it comes to that.

Hi guys, I emailed Judith from the Inland Empire campus today to let her know that I saw my status change on my portal and wanted to confirm admittance.. she did confirm through email that I was accepted for Spring 2019 and told me that she is giving the list of people accepted to the graduate office today. So for those of you that applied to the IE campus try confirming through her or keep an eye out for your letter in the next week or so! :)

I had the same two classes outstanding, but I didn't have any issues with my other completed prerequisites.

Hi just wondering did you submit your application online for the IE campus? I did a paper app and interviewed at the IE campus so unsure if I'll ever get a portal update email since I dont have one.

Yes I submitted it online and also interviewed at the IE campus. I never got an email about a portal update but when everyone started talking about portal updates with a term listed next to the green dot (which mine had) I decided to email her for confirmation. That's when she told me that I was accepted.

What was the color dot before ? Does it say a campus next to it and is it under the application section?

Yes it was in the application section in the student center.. There is no campus by it, it just says Spring 2019. There is a green dot right next to it.

So for my resume, I had moved to LA and got a job as a CNA at a post acute care rehab facility and I finished my 100 hour volunteership at kaiser so I wanted to update my resume to reflect this. I'd just reapply they totally consider the fact that you're reapplying. I didn't get in my first time and I got in the second time so definitely reapply
