Hey everyone,

I have just submitted my application for the Summer BSN program at APU. Has anyone else submitted their application or would anyone else like to share their stats?

My one friend had no experience while my other friend had done volunteer work for a hospital before

Hi! The schedule really depends on the semester you are in. First semester I was in lecture 3.5 days per week, plus one half day for lab, and possibly one day for clinical. All weekends are off. I’m not sure if first semester is doing clinicals currently due to covid - but other semesters definitely are. All classes (lecture) are online, while skills lab is completely in person (PPE is worn and all current state/local regulations are strictly followed). 
 

also, for the other persons question, a large majority of people in my class do have children/families. It’s a great mix.

 

and most people in my class do have some sort of healthcare experience (CNA, EMT, volunteer, etc)

Hey everyone! I received a confirmation email today for my program coordinator that my application has been sent to School of Nursing for review. Did anyone else get that email today?

I really hope it does not take 8-11 weeks to hear back from the deadline. My coordinator is Brian so I just asked him when should I expect to hear back. I read another comment that said 8-11 weeks, I'm just hoping it is sooner. LOL

My coordinator is Alexandra and that’s what she told me! I hope it’s not that long either. The Summer 2020 thread heard back as soon as February 27th so I’m hoping it’s around that time.

My coordinator is Hannah & she told me 8-10 weeks on 01/29 sooo here’s to hoping!

My coordinator is Jeremiah. He said mid March. LOL. I’ll be stress eating until then! LOL

Does anyone have an approx understanding of how many students get accepted to each campus versus how many applicants there are? I would like to further mentally torture myself while waiting during this time ?
