Hey everyone,

I have just submitted my application for the Summer BSN program at APU. Has anyone else submitted their application or would anyone else like to share their stats?

Hi Addiyonn! I was also accepted for the IE campus. I think earlier in the thread you mentioned something about receiving a tentative schedule. Did you get the email with your cohort and schedule yet? I got the email on Tuesday and I'm in cohort 7!

Hey everyone!

is there anyone else still waiting for a decision? I still haven’t heard back if I was denied or not. I thought yesterday I would for sure get an answer and sadly I have not. Anyone else still in this position? My portal still says 100% and my coordinator told me they are still making decisions and I should hear back soon.

I received an email last Tuesday with my denial letter. I received my denial letter by mail this past weekend. It is possible that they are still making decisions. Possibly you’re on the alternate list since no one has posted that they were placed on it as far as I am aware.

I just spoke with my rep Brian and he told me APU is no longer doing alternates. So at this point I feel like I'm denied. I felt like there was a slim chance of being an alternate but sadly not.

Is this a hybrid program or is it completely on campus? Is it hard to get into this school? Thanks for any info you can provide!!

Hi! For fall 2021 it is more hybrid. Some classes online and some in person. I do not know if there will be any changes made as the pandemic worsens but that’s it for now. 
I believe about 200-300 applicants per application period and 30 students are picked per campus. There are 3 locations to chose from. Monrovia, Inland Empire or High Dessert. 
they look at the application as a whole, collectively, grades, essay, resume etc.. so it’s quite fair. Good luck! Go for it!

I just called and they told me classes will be in person.
