April 2008 NCLEX test takers, COME ON IN!

Per the request of janina08 I've started the April NCLEX takers support group. When do you take it? What are you using to study? Would anyone like to review any of the systems/meds that he/she feels weakest on? Let's keep each other in our prayers and good thoughts as we go through one of the biggest experiences of our lives. :)

ok guys... i will take the nclex on April 4th.... let me rephrase... I will RETAKE the NCLEX on Aril 4th.... I am trying to get into a review course but Hurst REview is not offered in my area.... does anyone know any other course I could sign up for (other than Kaplan, b/c I signed up for that already)...that has a 98-99% passage rate?

I am willing to pay anything!!!!!

Hi all, I'm taking the test on 3-7 so I won't be much help, but just wanted to say that i couldn't get into the march group's focus on all the knowledge stuff...that's in the saunders book, you know? Not bashing the march group, just my 2 centavos. Focusing on the why's and what's, like prioritizing and delegating might serve you better. Some of these prioritization q's are hecka tricky! I found the kaplan book and question trainer to be a good study adjunct to the saunders review, too. good luck everyone!

That's exactly what I'm using now. :) I have Kaplan and I have Saunders. I also bought the NCLEX-RN Made Incredibly Easy, but only for the questions. Their CD has more than 3000 q's in it. :typing

Funny b/c I am also doing saunders and kaplan too.... I am on part 1 of Suzannes plan.... I just bought the new 4th edition Saunders book today.... I pray I pass!

I think that just as long as you get the benefit of the rationales and you understand them, then both ways are fine. :)

hello all!!!!!!! here's one mnemonic that really helped me with OB decelerations/accelerations:

Variable - Cord Compression

Early deceleration- Head Compression

Acceleration - OK

Late deceleration- Placental Insufficiency

I believe i may test in April so why not join such an awesome group of motivaters. I cannot count the # of times i have sat behind a pc for the nclex-rn. I am so praying all will be well this April. Doing Susanne's plan so that means i have to figure out extra 45 days for her second part that is why i fall in April maybe towards the end. Good luck to all.
