Trying hard to work out a timeline so I can work out a realistic time for selling our house (don't want to sell too early as have 3 dogs and trouble finding renting willing to take dogs) plus giving notice at work as I have to give 3 months.
I know will only be approx but if RN's from the UK who have already arrived in the US put down their timescale plus the ones already in the process still in the UK would be a big help and may also help those beginning their process
Mine
Lawyer filed with in Texas 10/08/06

Have contacted lawyer and waiting for confirmation but wow... talk about quick... which it had been this quick when we started the process a few years ago as hubby wouldn't have had time to change his mind and we could have moved months and months ago

Some banks charge for the cheque for the US embassy as it has to be in $ and a bankers draft. I think HSBC dont charge but Nat West did.
