Applying to UCLA MECN to start Fall 2015?

Hi! Is anyone applying to UCLA's MECN program? Last year I applied and wasn't accepted. I believe they accepted around 12%. They had 70 spaces down from 90 the previous year.

I emailed RF about updates and here's her reply:

"As of now, all slots have been filled. But, in case there are any changes you are now number 6 on the waitlist."

I was #25 on the waitlisted before.

How long did it take for her to respond to your email? I emailed her last week and still have not heard anything....

I emailed her this past Sunday and just got a reply on Tuesday. so two days.

So this is strange...she just responded to me this morning and told me they have only admitted 11 alternates. If that is true, the count she told you versus me is different. I was #13 and now I'm #2 on the waitlist.

It could be that some of the people who are #14 to #24 decided that they didn't want to be on the waitlist anymore.

Hi, gcarrasco920, did you get in? Any news from the program? It has been a long time that we haven't heard any news from the program. I was #17 on the waitlist and UCLA was the only school I applied....

Hi, mmm9, sorry for the late response. But to answer your question, Yes! I got in! I was accepted on May 12..Good luck !

Hey mmm9, Congrats on your acceptance!! :) I was wondering - were you #17 on the original waitlist? or #17 after the initial wave of alternates were accepted into the program?

Thank you!! i was originally #17, and I became #4 after the initial wave of alternates were accepted. Hope that helps!

I don't know how to do a direct message. But I saw that you received a DUI? Was wondering if you were still able to become a nurse? I recently been charged for a DUI and trying to get down to reckless. I'm in Cali btw. Any help would be appreciated. Even better if you can direct message me. Thank you.
