Applying to UCLA MECN to start Fall 2015?

Hi! Is anyone applying to UCLA's MECN program? Last year I applied and wasn't accepted. I believe they accepted around 12%. They had 70 spaces down from 90 the previous year.

I received an email saying that the admissions process is now complete - it sounds like the wait list is closed. Did anyone else receive an email like that?

Yea, I got it around 9:00 a.m. this morning from RF. I thought it was weird - don't they keep the wait list open longer than this? It said:

The Admissions for the Master Entry Clinical Nurse (MECN) Program is complete for Fall 2015.

I am sorry you were not offered admissions from the alternate list. This alternate status is valid for Fall 2015 only. If you choose to re-apply, we will be having admission information sessions starting in late summer 2015. We suggest you check the website at the end of May for updated dates.

I got the same email and emailed RF back. She said "there is a very silm chance 11 students will withdraw". I'm number 24 on the alternate list. Change on the grad login for mine is now complete and got a rejection letter.

Yes, this morning I also received an email from Grad Division with the official rejection letter. I was #31 on the alternate list.

How are they at #15? I was #13 on the waitlist and haven't heard anything....

Ms_Smiles - do you know if anyone on the waitlist who was accepted, joined the Facebook group? If so, Can you share with us what the highest number is so far?

We don't know if the people who joined the fb page later were on the waitlist or just happened to find us later, and not all of them post that they were on the waitlist or the number. but two people that did share their waitlist status and number were #5 and #9, they joined 2 weeks ago. Not sure if more have gotten in though.

I'm in the same boat as you..I tried emailing ------------------------ but haven't received a response...

I emailed RF about updates and here's her reply:

"As of now, all slots have been filled. But, in case there are any changes you are now number 6 on the waitlist."

I was #25 on the waitlisted before.
