Applying to UCLA MECN to start Fall 2015?

Hi! Is anyone applying to UCLA's MECN program? Last year I applied and wasn't accepted. I believe they accepted around 12%. They had 70 spaces down from 90 the previous year.

I was under the impression EVERYONE will know (accepted or denied) by early next week

I hate to be Debbie downer but usually acceptances are sent out together.

I believe that last year the acceptances came out over the course of a few days. So far on this thread I believe only 5ish people have said they have been accepted. Did anyone get an acceptance today or are there any more folks who got an acceptance this weekend?

i think last year's thread, many got accepted 4/16, then were told that decisions would go out later, and those were all waitlists at best. however, we haven't been officially rejected, so we aren't rejected yet. trying not to agonize over it. we have no control over our application at this point

I have a friend in the program and she let me know that they were accepted on different days so we are not out of luck just yet! So for now, no news is good news haha. I am scared but excited at the same time.. I wasn't anticipating on finding out this early. Best of luck to all of you!

I was admitted to the program over the weekend and just thought I would note that 6 of the 9 people in the FB group have last names starting with an A or a B. Maybe they're going alphabetically?

mine's is towards the end... but for all schools where I've been accepted so far, i was always in first group to hear... this makes me feel not so good >_

Just spoke to (male admissions coordinator) and he said that we will be hearing all acceptances/rejections/waitlists by Friday!
