Applying to UCLA MECN to start Fall 2015?

Hi! Is anyone applying to UCLA's MECN program? Last year I applied and wasn't accepted. I believe they accepted around 12%. They had 70 spaces down from 90 the previous year.

@ElizabethH736 I hope you're right. I think the recruiter I'm speaking of is a female. Not quite sure from the name. Next week sounds a lot better though! I'm not keeping my hopes up about acceptance either :/

I applied to the UCLA's MECN program last year and was placed on waiting list #21 and did not get in...The waiting list only went up to #20

At least this year they have to full time people working on applications. I know last year they only had 1 full time and one part time which meant the decisions came out really late. Let's cross our fingers that the decisions come out soon.

Will everyone who gets accepted find out on the same day or do they take their time rolling it out? Next week would be amazing.

i believe fafsa applications are due first thing in march, right?

Last year it took nearly 2-3 weeks for all notices to be sent out, and everything was extremely unclear and drawn out. It was painful. :(

For those of you who sent an email to the admissions coordinator about decisions timeline, how long did it take for him/her to get back to you?

Hello all! I applied to the program and just received my acceptance notification(2/21/14)!! They sent an initial notification through email today and said the letter is on its way :)

I'm so excited! UCLA is my first choice! Didn't think I'd get in but God is good :)
