Hello!
I wanted to start a new topic for Texas PMHNP programs Spring 2024 start. I'll be applying to Texas Tech (TTUHSC) and UT Tyler both part-time option. I believe both application deadlines are around August 1st, 2023. Any current TTUHSC or UT Tyler PMHNP students please feel free to offer advice. Prospective students, let's share information and help each other become the best applicants posible.
My stats are as follows:
RN for 3.5 years
1 year psych/substance abuse RN experience (outpatient working with PMHNPs)
8 years psych experience (pre-RN)
BSN GPA 3.9 (from TTUHSC)
2 PMHNP reference letters and 1 psych supervisor letter

Does anyone know when they start letting people know if they were accepted or denied and is via email or mail?

Not bad.
it's with 2 staff members and they ask a variety of questions. It lasted 15 minutes. It goes by quick.
How did your interview go?
Congrats!! I just got a denial email. Boo-hoo! I graduate w my BSN from Tech in Dec., so I'm not too beat up about it. I'll just try again.
